Separate fields for name and last name

This time I will help you setup your Contact Form 7 that has separate fields for ‘first name’ and ‘last name’ such as the one in the screenshot below. This form has [your-first-name] and [your-last-name] that we will map to your MailChimp.com mailing list:

To send both values to your MailChimp.com mailing list entry, you can use the Custom Fields sections inside the plugin settings. By default the ‘Subscriber Name’ field will map with LNAME inside the mailing list merge field, so we only have to add a custom field for the [your-last-name] to be mapped to LNAME as shown in the screenshot below:

Once you set your Contact Form 7 as shown above, run a couple of tests to verify that your fields are being sent to MailChimp.com and stored in the mailing list you have assigned for them.
