Hi, I am Renzo Johnson. If something is broken, half-built, or still just an idea, tell me about it. The form below comes straight to me and I read every message myself. No ticket number, no queue, no first-line agent reading from a script.

And if you are worried your problem is too strange, too small, or too far gone: it almost certainly is not. I have seen a lot.

What I can help with

Software development. Applications, APIs, and getting two systems to talk to each other that were never designed to. PHP, JavaScript, Python, or whatever the problem actually calls for.

Web development. Sites and front ends, from a marketing page that has to load fast to an application interface built in React. WordPress and WooCommerce are a big part of this, though they are not all of it.

Systems and infrastructure. Servers, deployments, monitoring, and migrations. Also the unglamorous things nobody enjoys: DNS, caching layers, mail that stops arriving, backups nobody has ever tested.

Something is on fire right now. A deploy went wrong, checkout stopped completing, or the site is down and nobody knows why. Say so in your first line and I will treat it that way.

Genuinely not sure which of those you have? That is completely fine. Describe what you are seeing and I will work it out with you.

What to tell me

Four things get you a real answer on the first reply rather than the third:

  • Where it lives: a URL, a repository, or a server
  • What the stack is, as far as you know
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened instead

Paste the exact error text if you have it, rather than describing it. A screenshot of the screen you are stuck on helps enormously too. And if you can only manage “it broke and I do not know why”, send that. We can start there.

What happens next

What happens after you send the form: you send details, I read it, you get a reply within one business day, then we fix it

You will hear back within one business day, usually sooner. If the answer is quick, it comes in that reply and costs you nothing. If it needs real work, I will tell you what it involves and what it costs before anything starts. For a live system that needs hands on it today, there is priority support.

Who you are actually reaching

One developer, working directly with you, who will explain what went wrong in plain language rather than hiding behind jargon.

The public proof happens to be WordPress: six plugins on WordPress.org, around 41,000 active installations between them, and 4.2 stars across 191 reviews on the biggest. That is one visible slice of the work rather than the edge of it, because most client systems never carry a byline. For something with no WordPress in it at all, here is how I built UptimeClaw, an uptime monitoring service.

Renzo Johnson, Orlando, Florida. US Eastern time, and I answer my own email.

Before you write

Troubleshooting one of my plugins? The documentation will often answer you faster than I can. And if you simply want to know whether your site is exposed, how WordPress sites get hacked covers what actually goes wrong.

Otherwise, the form is below. Nothing you send goes to a mailing list, and I will not chase you afterwards.
